It is not the language of painters but the language of nature which one should listen to, the feeling for the things themselves, for reality, is more important than the feeling for pictures.

As an artist I vow to see the world from several perspectives. I strive to pay attention to the smallest of details but also step back and squint at the bigger picture from time to time. I am studious without the use of language to guide me through my understanding. I prefer to experience first hand rather than taking someone's word for it. As an artist, I realize that nothing is ever really finished and that eternal life is achieved through creating something unique and personal that will decay slower than my flesh.
